Nate Fata graduated from Socastee High School in Myrtle Beach. He received his undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and received his Juris Doctor degree in 1993 from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. He worked in Chicago for two years in a medium-sized firm which specialized in representing Japanese interests in the Midwest. In 1995 Nate moved to South Carolina and started his practice. He is licensed to practice law in the States of South Carolina and Illinois. He has argued cases in state and federal courts. Nate specializes in consumer law, automobile accidents, denial of insurance claims, class actions, construction defect litigation, and commercial litigation. He has tried cases in federal court, state court, and United States Bankruptcy Court. He has two reported decisions from the South Carolina Supreme Court. Angus v. City of Myrtle Beach and Edwards v.
